OXFORD — Vallie Vernell Price Dunn, 63, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at Springfield M.B. Church in Abbeville at 2:30 p.m. with burial in Hurricane Creek Primitive Baptist Church cemetery in Oxford. Visitation will be on Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Homes of Oxford, which is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Lafayette County, she was a cook at Sky-Mart Grocery.

She is survived by her husband, Frankie “AC” Dunn of Oxford; mother, Marie Price of Oxford; four sons, Brian Price of Tupelo, Joshua Price, Juan Dunn and Frankie Dunn Jr., all of Oxford; daughters, LaTwanza Price of Oxford and D’Janna Cook of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; brothers, Vincent Buford, Kenneth Buford and Eric Buford, all of Oxford; sisters, LaVoice Timmons of Atlanta, Georgia, Sharron Buford, Vicki Evans, Quan Gipson, all of Oxford, Rachael Foster and Pamela Foster, both of Waterford; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
