Magnolia Montessori readies for celebration
Students and staff at Magnolia Montessori School in Oxford are planning for the observance of Mississippi Montessori Education Week, designated today through March 5 by Gov. Phil Bryant.
“The Montessori approach may be one of the best-kept secrets in education,” said school director Stacey Sanford. “We believe all parents should know about this option, and visiting our school is a great way to learn more.”
The school welcomes members of the community to take a firsthand look at the child-centered, individualized approach developed almost 100 years ago by Dr. Maria Montessori, the first female physician in Italy.
To schedule a visit, contact the school office at 662-234-0344 or visit the website: www.magnoliamontessorischool.com.
