Ole Miss has bolstered its linebacker corps with the addition of Oregon State transfer Rommel Mageo, who signed with the Rebels on Wednesday.

As the starting middle linebacker last season, the 6-foot-2, 233-pound bruiser led the Beavers with 87 total tackles, adding 2.0 sacks, two interceptions, three passes defended, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He was also the team’s starting middle linebacker as a redshirt-freshman in 2013, when he compiled 47 tackles and 5.0 tackles for loss.
