POPE – Jesse Carl “J.C.” Morris, 72, died Friday, March 4, 2016, at his residence in Pope. Thee will be a private family memorial service at a later date.

He was retired from The Oxford EAGLE. Dickins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by sons William “Billy” Morris and Phillip Morris, both of Colorado; sisters Norma Morris Gordon of Nesbit and Marilyn Morris Harold of Pope; brothers William “Mack” Morris of Batesville and Thomas Morris of Pope; and several nieces and nephews.
