GREENVILLE – Juanita Alvoid Rodgers, 83, died Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Agape Storage Christian Center, 130 North Theobald Street in Greenville. Burial will follow in Delta Memorial Cemetery. Redmond Funeral Home of Greenville is in charge of arrangements.

She was a social worker at Delta Ministry, a seamstress, the fabric department at K-Mart and TG&Y, and a nurse’s aide at King Daughters and General Hospital in Greenville.

She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter.

She is survived by five daughters, Ann Herod of Abbeville, Mary Ann Bailey of Chesterfield County, Virginia, Shirley Johnson of Ruleville, Juanita F. Rodgers of Greenville and Angela Jamille Reeves of Richmond, Virginia; son Willie Rodgers Jr. of Lafayette, Louisiana; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
