CHICAGO – Bobby L. Jones, 78, died Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at C.B. Taylor Funeral Home in Chicago with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Chicago. Viewing will be on Friday from 3-8 p.m. at C.B. Taylor Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Marshall County, he was a retired welder for General Motors and owner of B&B Heating/Cooling.

He is survived by daughters Phyllis Hardaway-Green of Oxford, Angela Hardaway of Memphis, Tennessee, and Angela Birdsong of Ypsilanti, Michigan; son Bobby Ray Hardaway of Memphis, Tennessee; sister Flora Jones of Memphis, Tennessee; brothers Curtis Jones of Byhalia, Eddie Gatewood Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
