Community Mortgage Corporation, a Memphis-based lender, has opened a new branch location in Oxford.

“As a market leader, we plan on taking our excellent service and our in-touch, on-time corporate commitment to Oxford,” said L. Patrick Sandlin, president and CEO.

The branch is managed by Jason Lowe, with the office located just off the Oxford downtown Square at 400 S. Lamar Blvd.

“Oxford is an exciting market,” said Lowe, who has been a mortgage lender for eight years. “Community Mortgage has been a lender in the Oxford market for years but decided the timing was right to add a full service branch location.”

Initially, the Oxford branch will feature two full-time employees. The office will be a full-service mortgage lender, providing traditional home mortgages, loans for condominiums and second homes, mortgages for investor-owned properties, as well as loans for new and existing construction projects.

Additionally, all FHA, VA AND USDA loan products will be offered alongside Mississippi Housing and first-time buyer loan programs.

“The Oxford branch is projected to generate up to $40 million in closed loan volume annually,” Sandlin said. “Every aspect of the lending cycle is performed in-house, which offers faster decisions and timely loan closings.”
