Charles Edward Waddell

WATER VALLEY — Charles Edward Waddell, 79, died Saturday, March 19, 2016, at his home in Water Valley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12 p.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at Seven Oaks Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Tate County, Tennessee, he was a self-employed plumber who enjoyed fishing and taking care of his horses and animals. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Frances Waddell, and his brother, Wayne Waddell.

He is survived by his daughter, Joey Simpson of Water Valley; son Charles Dean Waddell of Water Valley; sister Brand Riley of Lexington, Tennessee; brothers David Waddell of Houston, Texas and William Waddell of Carrollton, Georgia; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
