OXFORD – Donna Jean Clemons, 58, died Monday, March 21, 2016, at her home in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Wes Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be held today from 5-7 p.m. at Waller Funeral Home and again prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Oxford, she retired from a career in nursing where she worked at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford before moving to Batesville, Arkansas and working at White River Medical Center. A faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, she cherished time spent with her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and dogs (Tia, Tallulah and Bree). She enjoyed shopping and will be remembered for her sense of humor and the rare ability to find humor in any situation.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Ruth Clemons.

She is survived by her father, Robert D. Clemons of Oxford; daughters, April Beth Carlton of Oxford and Kristi Lane Hagan of Dolph, Arkansas; son, Lee Lewis of Calico Rock, Arkansas; brother, Johnny R. Clemons of Oxford; and nine grandchildren.
