An Abbeville man faces harassment charges after being arrested Tuesday by the Oxford Police Department for allegedly harassing a former girlfriend via the Internet.

Lonnie Bogard, 38, was arrested in January on a domestic violence charge against a former girlfriend. Investigators say Bogard has continued the harassment and charged him Tuesday with cyber stalking, email threats and harassment.

He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $2,500 bond.
