Charles Alvin Holloway II

SOUTHAVEN – Charles Alvin “Little Charlie” Holloway II, 62, died Friday, March 25, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. A private graveside memorial service for family and friends will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley with Bro. Freddie Moorman officiating. Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Champagne, Illinois, he moved to Water Valley shortly after his birth where he was raised and graduated high school. He attended Northwest Mississippi Community College and worked as a machinist for Borg-Warner until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding motorcycles. He dearly loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Chris Hughes Holloway of Southaven; son Thomas Holloway of Southaven; brother Steve Holloway of Water Valley and his parents, Charles A. Holloway and Genora Holloway, both of Water Valley.
