OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma – Wayne Lamar Bruce, 81, formerly of Etta, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Philadelphia Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Hope officiating. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Etta, he was a retired, self-employed truck driver with Bruce Trucking.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Terry and two brothers, William Franklin “Bill” Bruce and Wilburn Eugene Bruce.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Gayle Wilson Bruce of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Rebecca Bruce of Texarkana, Texas; three sons, Tracey Bruce and Zachary Bruce, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Darrell Bruce of Dallas, Texas; sister, Barbara Leeton of Water Valley; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
