COFFEEVILLE – Ricky Howard Peacock, 68, of Coffeeville, died Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held today from 5-7 p.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, he grew up in Water Valley and after high school, served in the United State Navy. He worked for many years as a painter. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Peacock; sister Darlene Peacock; and brother Robin Peacock.

He is survived by daughters Laura Peacock Thompson and Jennifer Peacock, both of Mount Gay, West Virginia; sons Ricky Peacock Jr. of Mount Gay, West Virginia and Jason Mottz of Corinth; sister Sherry Peacock of Water Valley; brothers Randy Peacock of Coffeeville and Eddie Peacock of Water Valley; and a host of grandchildren and other relatives.
