EUPORA — MayDell Holder Morris, 92, died Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the Golden Living Center in Eupora. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with the Rev. Max Blackweldger officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Crest Memorial Garden Cemetery in Yalobusha County. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Finger, Tennessee, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Willard Morris Sr.; sisters Mildred Stella, Marie Holder and Sara Holder; and a grandson.

She is survived by daughters Betty Blackwelder and Dorothy Marbry, both of Eupora, and Debbie Cartwright of Holladay, Tennessee; sons Jesse Morris Jr. of Water Valley and John Morris of Oxford; brother Aaron Holder of Water Valley; 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
