On Friday, someone contacted the Oxford Police Department to report their vehicle had been stolen. The vehicle was found a short time after with Kevin Eduardo Garcia-Hernandez behind the wheel. Hernandez was charged with motor vehicle theft and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $2,500 bond.
