Man wanted for theft found in Memphis

On Monday, Oxford police officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to an unknown male shoplifting multiple electronics valued at $1,117. The suspect was identified at Broderick Durel White who was selling the stolen items in Memphis.

A warrant was issued for his arrest for felony shoplifting after OPD investigators found a Memphis address for White. Detectives notified Shelby County Fugitive Division and with the help of Memphis Police Department, White was found at the residence and taken into custody. He is currently being held in Memphis until he is extradited back to Oxford. White has felony warrants in Shelby County and Horn Lake for similar crimes. No bond has been set at this time.
