BRANDON — Tristan “T-Byrd” Gene Byrd, 19, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Visitation will be held today from 5-8 p.m. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

He graduated from Bandon High School and was a freshman at the University of Mississippi. He loved attending Ole Miss where he was majoring in sports medicine and recently changed his major to business marketing. He was very athletic, loved playing soccer and enjoyed working out at the gym.

He is survived by his parents, Travis and Charlotte J. Byrd; Chassity Dickson; grandmother, Oma Landrum; grandparents, Darrell and Rose McCollum; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.
