Several Northwest Mississippi Community College students are recent recipients of the Student Support Services (SSS) TRIO Grant Aid Scholarships and were honored at a reception on April 20.

Included in the winners are  Daniel Pompa of Oxford.

The SSS TRIO program is a federally-funded program intended to increase the number of disadvantaged low-income college students, first-generation college students and college students with disabilities in the United  States who successfully complete a program of study at the postsecondary level.
