The Oxford Police Department arrested Rotoya Draper, 21, of Panola County on Tuesday for allegedly stealing items from her roommate.

According to reports, on April 21, officers responded to 900 Whirlpool Drive for a burglary. Investigators say Draper and some friends forced their way into her roommate’s locked bedroom and took several items. The alleged victim saw some of her stolen items in these girls’ possession and she signed charges against them for burglary.

Draper was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where she was booked on a $5,000 bond.

More arrests are expected.
