OXFORD — Jackie Jeanette Hollowell Barry, 80, died Saturday, May 7, 2016, at her home in Oxford. A graveside service will be held today at 4 p.m. at Oxford Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Alan Harris officiating. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Oxford, she was retired from the Whirlpool Corporation where she worked as a materials coordinator. She was a member of North Oxford Baptist Church and the Pilot Club of Oxford. She found great enjoyment in bird watching and tending her flower garden.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Tom” Thomas Barry, Sr. and a brother, David Christian “Chris” Hollowell.

She is survived by daughter Sandra “Sandy” Rhoton of Oxford; sons William “Bill” Thomas Barry Jr. of Oxford and John Stephen “Steve” Baker of Water Valley; sister Hollie Poe of Batesville; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
