OXFORD – Margaret Alene Reeder Pulliam, 92, died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with the Rev. John Semmes officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Waller Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Pontotoc County, she was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Oxford for more than 72 years. She was a member of the Civitan Club and participated in the Senior Lunch Brunch at the Oxford/Lafayette Hospital.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ward Pulliam.

She is survived by daughter Nita Pulliam Vaughn of Roxboro, North Carolina; son Anthony Pulliam of Oxford; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
