Lauren Cullen of Oxford recently was among seven seniors at Mississippi College who received a Perry Academic Award at its annual awards day.

These awards were established by Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Perry to recognize scholastic achievement. The awards, in the form of gold medallions, are awarded to seven seniors annually.

Recipients have maintained a minimum 3.5 GPA. Academic excellence receives 75 percent consideration and 25 percent for qualities of leadership, citizenship, creative ability, activities and moral character.
