TUPELO — David Randall Herod, 51, died Sunday, May 22, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at noon at Oasis Church of all Nations with Pastor David Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Homes of Oxford, which is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Lafayette County, he was a graduate of Lafayette High School Class of 1982 and a mechanic for University Tire & Auto.

He is survived by wife Tammy B. Herod of Oxford; daughters Clyshadra Buford and Allyah Herod, both of Oxford; son Reginald Buford of Oxford; brother Gerald Herod of Conyers, Georgia; sisters Ruby L. Herod of Conyers, Georgia, Valeria Banger of Southaven, Debra Herod of Oxford, Sherry Herod and Florence Herod, both of Abbeville; and one grandson.
