TUPELO — Nancy Shelene McCoy, 61, died Friday, May 27, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Shaun Tedford officiating. Graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Old Mormon Cemetery in Booneville. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.

Born in Booneville, to the late Joseph Arnold and Mary Frances Stephenson, McCoy was the cafeteria manager at Bramlett Elementary in Oxford. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had a deep love for her family. Taking care of her family was her main joy in life.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Boone McCoy of Oxford; three daughters, Amanda Frances McCoy, Rebecca Lynn McCoy, and Hannah Marie McCoy, all of Oxford; three sons, Brad McCoy and Joseph Derrick McCoy, both of Oxford, and Michael Evan McCoy of Abbeville; three brothers, Max L. Stephenson and Alan Quinton Stephenson, both of Booneville, and Royce O. Stephenson of Belle Plane, Kansas.
