OXFORD – Harold William “PeeWee” Laster, 61, of Coffeeville, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Hoop officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Church of God cemetery in Charleston. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12 noon until service time at Seven Oaks Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Marks, he worked as a sawmill operator for Memphis Hardwood in Bruce. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Peggy Wilkinson and Helen King; brothers James Bubba Laster, Tommy Lee Laster, David Earl Randall and Claude Edward Hollins.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia Fisk Laster of Coffeville; sisters Margaret Ann Smith of Memphis, Tennessee, Delores Ann Denley of Grenada and Penny Pennington of Sarah; brother Michael Laster of Coffeeville; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
