GRENADA – Weda Joyce Card Self, 57, died Sunday, June 5, 2016, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Sunflower, she moved to Alabama where she spent most of her adult life. She retired as a district retail store manager for several retail chains before moving to Coffeeville. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by sisters Linda Peacock of Coffeeville, Janie Reynolds and Patsy Ray, both of Drew, and Mattie L. Atkins of Ecru; brothers Gary Card of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Stevie Card of Coffeeville; and two granddaughters.
