Come out and help Rivers Hill Church of Christ kick-off its VBS from 10 to 3 p.m. at River’s Hill Park, off Pegues Road.

Monday

The monthly Oxford Emmaus/Cursillo Community gathering will be held at St. Andrews United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. It will begin with a potluck dinner. Please come early and bring a meat or vegetable dish and/or a dessert dish to share with the community. Everyone is invited.

June 22-24

Abundant Truth Salt & Light Ministries will hold its VBS nightly from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The theme will be, “Joy in Jesus Everywhere, All the Time!” based on Neh. 8:10. Located at 485 Old Taylor Road in Taylor. For more information, call 662-380-3587. Pastor is Shelby C. Washington Sr.

The Diamonds and Pearls Women’s Ministry of New Freedom Church of God in Christ invites the public to attend its fifth annual Rainbow Tea at 2 p.m. at the North Oxford Baptist Church Family Life Center. Old Union Baptist Church in the Tula-Yocona community will celebrate Homecoming at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Brother Michael Callahand and the Trailsmen quartet will help celebrate this special occasion. There will be a potluck lunch in the fellowship hall and singing will continue in the afternoon.

June 19-22

Pine Bluff Church of Christ will be holding its Gospel Meeting, featuring guest preachers and gospel music from 7 to 8 p.m. each night. The meeting will hold a capella group singing and devotional messages delivered by a different minister each night.  Preachers include: June 19, Les Ferguson of South Huntington Church of Christ; June 20, Chad Ramsey of Gloster Street Church of Christ; June 21, Michael Bates of Batesville Church of Christ; and June 22, Sherod Bryant of Rivers Hill Church of Christ. Nonmembers and members are encouraged to come and meet the church family.

June 24-26

Everyone is welcome to attend the annual meeting at Yalobusha Primitive Baptist Church in Water Valley. Services will be at 7 p.m. on June 24 and at 10:30 a.m. on June 25, followed by lunch. On June 26 at 10:30 a.m., Elder James Hall will minister. Lunch will follow. Elder Josh Winslett is the invited minister.

June 25

Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church youth department ministry will present a fashion show at 6 p.m. at the Lester Hill Family Life Center. Dinner is included with the cost of each ticket. Tickets are $12. For more information, contact coasieparker@yahoo.com.

June 26

Tula Community Homecoming at 10:30 a.m. in the Tula Baptist Church sanctuary with Bro. Mike Wolfe bringing the message. A potluck lunch will follow in the activities building. The church is located at 234 CR 436. Everyone is invited.
