OXFORD — Martha Patton Massey, 90, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Batesville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Coleman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Coleman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Lafayette County, she was a member of North Oxford Baptist Church. She was a former secretary for Freeman Truck Line. In her free time, she enjoyed volunteering as a foster grandparent at North Mississippi Regional Center.

Two sisters, a brother and her husband, Hubert Massey, preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Michael Massey of Lexington, Kentucky; a brother, Stacy Patton of Dumas, Arkansas; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
