Marshall Bernard Bensch

ABBEVILLE — Marshall Bernard Bensch, 74, of Abbeville and Lawrenceville, Georgia, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, after complications suffered during an earlier stroke. Bensch served on the USS Vesole out of high school and was honorably discharged following his service to his country. He was also a proud member of the Masonic lodge. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He welcomed everyone to eat at his table and enjoy the family time. Nobody was ever a stranger.

Bensch is survived by a sister, Dianna Rosenow; two sons; three grandsons; one granddaughter; as well as many stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers – the family asked for a donation to your favorite charity and to cheer Kyle Bush on to the Sprint Cup championship for 2016.
