JACKSON — Carolyn “PoohGal” Houston, 52, formerly of Oxford, died Saturday, June 18, 2016, at her residence in Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Tallahatchie-Oxford Missionary Baptist Association Building with burial to follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by daughter, Kesha Houston-Sly of Jackson; sisters, Dr. Rosella Houston and Michelle Houston, both of Jackson; and two grandchildren.
