Mrs. Marie Therese Adams, 67, of Oxford, died Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. The memorial service will be held Thursday, July 14, 2016, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Oxford. Burial will follow in Eastover Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held in West Hall of Waller Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m. with the Rosary service following in the chapel and visitation at the church prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Paul and Mary Shackle Ennen, Mrs. Adams graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Our Lady of the Holy Cross College in New Orleans, Louisiana. She had formerly served as the secretary at St John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church and was the co-owner of the Honey Bee Bakery from 2008 to present.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Adams Jr., a daughter, Shannon Adams and Drew Chiles, three sons, Sean Adams, Kelly Christopher Adams and Ashley D’Amore and Brian Joseph Adams and his wife, Marlee, all of Oxford; three sisters, Terrie Behl and her husband, Gary, Debi Jasper and her husband, Ron, a brother, Mark Ennen and his wife, Kathy, all of Plymouth, Minnesota, Jeanette Wuollet and her husband, Jeff of New Hope, Minnesota; one grandchild, Kelly Christopher Adams II of Oxford; a good friend, Jan Reynolds and Michael Simmons, both of Oxford,.

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Adams’ memory may be made to Joseph Adams Jr. for the medical and funeral expenses of Mrs. Therese Adams, 112A Cedar Hill Drive, Oxford, MS 38655.
