Natalie Chisholm Richmond died Friday, July 22, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. A memorial service will be Wednesday, July 27, at 11:30 a.m. at St Peter’s Episcopal Church with the Reverend Ann Whitaker officiating. Visitation will precede the service at the church beginning at 10 a.m. A private commital will follow the service in St Peter’s courtyard. Nat celebrated her 90th birthday in March. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Born in Montreal, Canada, Nat moved to the US in her early 20’s and spent most of her life in Oxford. She owned Oxford Realty and continued working into her 80’s. She loved Ole Miss football, golf, and cooking. Her favorite day of the year was December 23rd when she hosted the family Christmas party for her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She was a communicant of St Peter’s Episcopal Church.

Nat is survived by her five children, Daintry Thomas and her husband, Mike of Tupelo; Jill Jacobs and her husband, Bill of Centennial, CO; Basil Richmond and his wife, Terry of Oxford; Trica Bramlett of Memphis; John Richmond and his wife, Jill of Plano, TX; as well as her sister, Daintry Snyder, of Kitchner, Ontario;  nine grandchildren, Ruff Thomas and his wife Angelia of Tupelo; Field Thomas and his wife, Amy of Huntsville; Natalie Ellis and her husband, Bryan of Saltillo; Ginny Scott and her husband, Justin of New Albany; Justin Richmond and his wife, Kelsey of Tupelo; Craig Richmond and his fiancé Meredith Allen of Oxford; Katie Bramlett  of Memphis; John Chandler Bramlett of Memphis; Ellie Bramlett of Memphis; and eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to St Peter’s Episcopal Church building fund, 113 S. 9th Street, Oxford, MS 38655 or Sanctuary Hospice House, 5159 W. Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38801.
