HIXSON, Tennessee — James Steele, 68, formerly of Oxford, died Friday, July 29, 2016, at his home in Hixson, Tennessee. There are no funeral services planned. Hamilton Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Diane Steele; sons Dale and Andy Steele, all of Hixson, Tennessee; sisters Mary Sain and Jackie Berryhill, both of Memphis, Tennessee; and one grandchild.
