OXFORD — Mrs. Carline Elizabeth Ales Walls, 93, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford.

The funeral service will be Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Province officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Flat Cemetery.  Visitation was Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born in Panola County, Mrs. Walls was the widow of Mr. T.J. Walls and spent her life caring for her family.  A longtime member of South Lamar Baptist Church, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and cooking for her large family.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Alice Wilburn of Oxford; a son, Joseph Andrew “Andy” Walls of Water Valley; a brother, William David Ales of Mississippi; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
