The Oxford Charger Athletic Booster Club will host the Oxford Chargers’ Boosters and Blues on Saturday, at The Library Bar & Grill located at 120 South 11th Street.

The annual fundraising event benefits the Oxford Chargers’ athletics teams on the middle and high school levels.

Tickets are $50 per individual and can be purchased at University Sporting Goods Store on the  Square or at the Oxford School District Central Office, 224 Bramlett Boulevard. Those interested in purchasing tickets can also purchase event tickets from booster club board members.

This week, the Oxford Charger Athletic Booster Club has teamed up with Oxford businesses to donate a percentage of their proceeds to benefit the Oxford Charger Booster Club. Participating businesses are:

— Chick-fil-A, today, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

— The Growler, Wednesday, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

— Holli’s Sweet Tooth, Friday, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Oxford Charger Athletic Booster Club supports all Oxford Middle and Oxford High School athletic teams in a variety of ways, including purchasing needed athletic equipment and other items not readily available through the school district athletic budget. The school-related organization also provides recognition items for Oxford Charger student-athletes through the purchase of items such as lettermen jackets and championship rings.
