A few thousand Ole Miss football fans came out Saturday afternoon to the Manning Center for the annual “Meet the Rebels” event.

Players, cheerleaders and coaches, including head football coach Hugh Freeze, were on hand to sign autographs on posters, footballs and other memorabilia, as well as receive fist bumps from quarterback Chad Kelly.

The Ole Miss soccer and volleyball squads were also on hand to greet fans.

The Rebels, ranked No. 10 in the Associated Press preseason poll, open the season on Monday, Sept. 5, in a nationally televised game in Orlando, Florida, against Florida State.
