BancorpSouth announces Nathan C. Smith has joined the Bank as Commercial Lender and Branch Manager at BancorpSouth’s Jackson Avenue Branch in Oxford.

“We are pleased to have someone as experienced and capable as Nathan join our team as we continue our focus on serving our customers and growing our Oxford market,” said Randy Leister, Oxford Market President.

Prior to joining BancorpSouth, Smith previously served as a lending officer and branch manager with another area regional bank. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in real estate, marketing, and banking/finance from the University of Mississippi. Smith is also a licensed real estate broker in Mississippi and holds a license to sell life and health insurance in Mississippi and Tennessee.

Smith serves on the Board of the YMCA in Oxford and is a participant in the Leadership Lafayette program sponsored by the Oxford Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce.
