NEW ALBANY — Granville Green, 73, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in New Albany. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Oxford First United Methodist Church (formerly Burns U.M.  Church) with the Rev. Christopher Diggs officiating. Viewing will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Homes, which is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by daughters Sheree Hammond of Chicago and Shadra Mathis of Oxford; sons Steven Green of Riviera Beach, Florida and Scotty Green of West Palm Beach, Florida; brother Milan Green of St. Louis; sisters Queenie Barnes of Oxford and Patricia Eskridge of St. Louis; and four grandchildren.
