WATER VALLEY — Sadie Fondren, 87, of Oxford, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at Yalobusha Nursing Home in Water Valley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at North Hopewell M.B. Church in Taylor with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Oxford, which is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by daughters Sarah Reed, Lenora Fondren and Kathy Pearson, all of Oxford, and Ruby Wright of Taylor; sons Willie Franklin of Taylor, Howard Fondren of Clarksdale and Kelvin Fondren of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Charlie Hibbler of Elkhart, Indiana, and a sister, Ruby Carothers of South Bend, Indiana.
