WHAT’S AT STAKE

Ole Miss is coming off blowing a 22-point lead in the season opener and losing 45-34 to Florida State. Wofford — which plays at the FCS level — is trying to pull off a huge upset over a Southeastern Conference team.

KEY MATCHUP

The Ole Miss defense vs. Wofford’s triple-option. The Rebels played Florida State on Monday night and got back on campus at 4 a.m. on Tuesday, giving the team little time to prepare for Wofford’s unorthodox running offense. The Terriers ran for 346 yards last week in a win vs. Tennessee Tech.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Wofford: RB Will Gay. The Terriers’ running back needed just nine carries to gain 116 yards in the team’s win against Tennessee Tech.

Ole Miss: QB Chad Kelly. The senior would like to have a good bounce-back game after a mistake-laden performance against Florida State. He had some good moments against the Seminoles, throwing for 313 yards and four touchdowns, but his three interceptions and one lost fumble were critical in the loss.
