Carolyn Sneed White, 69, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. The funeral service will be Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Inmon officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 noon prior to the service at the funeral home.

Born to the late Lamon and Anice Huckaby Sneed, Mrs. White was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling with her husband all over the United States and Canada. She was an avid gardener and grew over 400 varieties of daylilies, among other beautiful flowers. She adored her grandchildren and found great joy in spending time with them. She was retired from the Sheriff’s Department of Lafayette County where she had worked as a secretary.

Survivors include her husband, C.W. White of Oxford; daughter, Kim Thornton and her husband John of Los Gatos, California; sons, Bryan White and his wife Julie and Steve White and his wife Leslie, all of Oxfor; sisters, Inette Maples of Oxford and Harley Ann Thorne of Thaxton, and three grandchildren, Carter Thornton, Raleigh White and Sterling White.
