Kenneth Dale “Tree Man” Lawson, 61, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at his home in Batesville. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. Visitation will be noon until service on Saturday at the funeral home.

He is survived by sisters, Glenda Tedford Haygood of Courtland, Debbie Lawson McAdams of Olive Branch, Julie Lawson Young of Oxford and Tamara Lawson Matthews of West Monroe, Louisiana; brothers Robert Malcolm Smith of Miami, Florida, Debert “Bubba” Smith of Water Valley and Glen Lawson Jr., of West Monroe, Louisiana.
