OXFORD — Robert Lee Carson, 93, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Oxford with burial to follow at Eastover Memorial Cemetery near Oxford. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11 a.m. until service time at Coleman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 12 siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Faye Carson of Oxford; daughters Mary Sprayberry of Bay Springs and Kathy Brummett of Taylor; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
