WATER VALLEY — Shirley Sanders Schmitz, 76, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at her home in Water Valley. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul Schmitz of Water Valley; her daughter, Donna Beshires of Water Valley; her son, Mitchell Schmitz of Brookhaven; two sisters, Betty Griffin of Water Valley and Melba Warren of Memphis, Tennessee; her brother, Danny Sanders of Mantachie; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
