Mildred Louise Knight, 94, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at her home in the Yocona community.

Mrs. Knight was retired from the University of Mississippi after 31 years employment in the University Laundry and the Housing Department.  She was a member of the Yocona Homemakers Club for 62 years, the Business and Professional Women’s Club for 3 years and received the Fourth of July award for recognition as a state employee. Mrs. Knight was a member of the Oxford Church of Christ.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Oxford. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, 11 a.m. at the Oxford Church of Christ with Bro. Will Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Yellow Leaf Cemetery. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Tony) Knight Coleman of Oxford, MS; two grandsons, Jamie Anderson of Columbus, MS and Will Anderson of Koscuisko, MS; dear friends, Sandra and Don Brewer. Special thanks to Camellia Hospice, especially Mia Davis and Tammy Cooper.

Her parents, Julian and Mamie Cain and her husband, Harold Hilton Knight preceded Mrs. Knight in death.
