BATESVILLE — James Carlton Perkins, 69, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2016, at his home near Batesville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Batesville with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5-8 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville and one hour prior to service time at the church.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Harrison Perkins of Batesville; sons R. Todd Perkins of Oxford, Timothy W. Perkins of Hollandale and James Sean Perkins of Batesville; brothers Orville G. Robertson of Oxford and Jerry G. Perkins of Batesville; and five grandchildren.
