James Culley Fudge

James Culley Fudge, 90, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at Church Manor Nursing Home in Ecru. The funeral service will be Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with the Rev. David Ard officiating. Burial will follow in Yellow Leaf Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Born to the late Zola Metts and James Buell Fudge, Mr. Fudge was retired from the postal service where he worked as a clerk in Memphis, Tennessee. He joined Yellow Leaf Baptist Church as a teenager and was a longtime member. He enjoyed watching football and was an avid Ole Miss football fan. He enjoyed visiting his old home place in Yocona and the Yellow Leaf community. Mr. Fudge was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II achieving the rank of E3.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Crenshaw Fudge.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Sue Fudge of Memphis, Tennessee.

In honor of Mr. Fudge’s service to his country the flag of the United States Army will be flown at Waller Funeral Home.
