The Oxford Police Department arrested two juveniles recently for allegedly burglarizing several vehicles.

According to reports, on Friday, officers responded to Faulkner Flats for a report of people trying to open car doors. When officers arrived they made contact with two juveniles who ran away when police approached. A short foot chase ensued and both were caught. Once in custody, stolen items from six vehicle burglaries were found in their possession.

The property was returned to the owners and the suspects were charged with vehicle burglary and released to their guardians.
