WATER VALLEY — Joan Porter McMinn, 77, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. A private service will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, which is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her son, Kevin McMinn of Saltillo; sisters Doris Massie of Water Valley, Jan Mize of Las Vegas and Rosalind Prestage of Madison, Wisconsin.
