OXFORD — Roger Seward Fitzgibbons of Water Valley, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 5 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 4 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Fitzgibbons of Water Valley; son Sean Fitzgibbons of Bentonville, Arkansas; daughter Stacey Sexton of Clemmons, North Carolina; sister Marci Skates of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
